Summary

Mobile Vault does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or vault entries. All your data stays on your mobile device. The relay server only facilitates temporary, encrypted connections between your devices.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not:

• Collect your name, email, or any account information
• Store your vault entries, passwords, or other secrets
• Read or log the content of messages relayed between your devices

Data Storage

All vault entries (logins, passwords, notes, etc.) are stored exclusively on your mobile device. The browser extension does not store any vault data. When you pair your phone with the extension, entries are displayed in memory only and are never written to disk by the extension.

Relay Server

The relay server enables pairing and real-time sync between your mobile app and browser extension. It:

• Creates temporary pairing rooms (identified by short-lived IDs)
• Relays opaque messages between your devices while a session is active
• Does not store, inspect, or log message content

For abuse prevention (e.g. flood of unpaired connections), the relay may temporarily track connection counts per IP address in memory. This data is not persisted and is not tied to any user identity.

Third Parties

Mobile Vault does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers. The relay server is hosted on infrastructure you control or that you entrust to your hosting provider (e.g. DigitalOcean).

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
